*** City of Toronto & Peel Region to Lockdown – Emergency Restrictions***CHURCH SERVICES ARE CANCELLED. SERVICES WILL RESUME ON THE WEEKEND OF SUNDAY, DECEMBER 20**

Слава Ісусу Христу! Glory To Jesus Christ! “We are now in the Christmas Fast and our minds and hearts are shifting to that beautiful time of year where we together as the Body of Christ celebrate the Incarnation...”. The leap of divine joy: God knows that the time has come when the mystery of salvation, hidden from the beginning of the world, will shine into human darkness and confusion. It is as if I can hear the Divine Persons saying, “Let us work the redemption of the whole human race; let us respond to the groaning of all creation.” PRAYER FOR THE SICK AND SHUT-INS O God our Father, we pray to restore physical health to our parishioners who are weakened with illness, peace to those troubled with worry, and comfort to those discouraged with problems. Help them find strength, faith and trust in You and a love for one another to guide them through any health challenge they may face. Amen. ️Patti thanks all participants in the ZOOM Prayer Service for her dear husband, Myron. What a beautiful outpouring of love!

NATIONAL HOLODOMOR AWARENESS WEEK commemorating the 87th anniversary of the Holodomor, the Soviet Communist regime's genocide against the Ukrainian people, will be launched from November 23-29, 2020 Prayer for the Victims of the Holodomor Remember, O Lord our God, our reposed brothers and sisters who, with faith and hope in eternal life, perished in the Holodomor (Great Famine), whose names are know to You, O Lord. As our merciful God and Lover of Mankind remit, pardon, and forgive all their sins, both voluntary and involuntary, and grant them Your eternal good things which have been prepared for those who love You. For You are a God of mercy and compassion and love for mankind, and we offer glory unto You, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now, and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen. Although the Holodomor claimed millions of lives, the hope and spirit of the Ukrainian people were not killed or starved. Ukrainians, believing that God was their guide and Savior, maintained an unwavering HOPE and FAITH. They prayed for a better life for future generations. Their prayers were answered. People did survive to tell their story and educate future generations. The Ukrainian nation survived and Ukrainian people, their religion, language, culture and traditions, continue to thrive in Canada and throughout the world. They are a living example that, no matter how bad or frightening things get, with God, there is always HOPE. Christmas Covid 19 – Planning how best to serve you at Christmas.
