1. Stay home if you are not feeling well. Pray at home by watching our streaming service on Facebook.

2. Use hand sanitizer and register upon entering the church.

3. Adhere to physical distancing (6 feet) while sitting in pews.

4. Masks are mandatory in church and must cover the nose, mouth and chin.

Let Us Remember in Prayer: 🙏Those who are ill or convalescing, especially those who are afflicted with Covid-19. May our Lord Jesus Christ, the Physician and Healer of souls and bodies, grant them peace and good health.

🙏Sorokousty – Prayers for the Dead. A special March envelope for Sorokousty is included in your set of donation envelopes. Prayers will begin on Friday, March 4th. If you wish to add any names please indicate this in your special envelope. We will commemorate those deceased whose families have requested prayers after each Pre-Sanctified Divine Liturgy during the Great Fast/Lent. Please submit by Feb. 27.

🙏“God comes to us disguised as our life.”For most people this is actually a disappointment!

It's not about becoming spiritual beings nearly as much as about becoming human beings. The biblical revelation is saying that we are already spiritual beings; we just don’t know it yet. The Bible tries to let us in on the secret, by revealing God in the ordinary. That’s why so much of the text seems so mundane, practical, specific, and, frankly, unspiritual! The principle of the Incarnation proclaims that matter and spirit have never been separate. Jesus came to tell us that these seemingly different worlds are and always have been one.

We have seen on the news how Russia has deployed troops along their border with Ukraine. Russia has shown its aggression towards Ukraine in the past with the annexation of Crimea and parts of Eastern Ukraine. Western leaders are trying to get Russia to deescalate a potential threat to peace for Europe and the world. The Synod of Bishops of Ukraine have asked that consider offering up prayers for peace in your private daily prayers.

📌The Ukrainian Catholic Women's League of Christ the Good Shepherd will be holding their Annual Meeting on Sunday, February 20 at 11:30 a.m. in the church hall.
